At the threshold, the Great Queen prepares for battle -washing away illusion like blood from a blade, she reveals the clarity of truth.  

From the veiled mists of the Otherworld, she comes.  Summoned from ancient battlefields, the Morrigan is the Irish warrior shrouded in mystery and cloaked in Raven’s shadow.  Also known as the Phantom Queen, she is the goddess of battle, the prophetess of fate and fury and the wielder of sovereignty and protection.

The Morrigan is fluid in form -- a shapeshifter, a guardian of altered states of consciousness.  Emerging as a woman, warrior, hag, or queen, her most iconic and sacred guise is that of the Raven.  As she rises in Raven form, she circles the battlefield, eyes gleaming with second sight -- prophesying death or victory, claiming the fallen, and guarding the threads of destiny. 

One of the Tuatha De Danann (People of the Goddess Danu), the Great Queen is a guardian of becoming who tears away illusion and unbinds the dimming of our power. She comes to us as three facets of the same being - Badb, Macha, Nemain -- each sister a fierce guardian of transformation, sovereignty, and battle's wild fury.
