In the hush of ancient forests, the Crone walks between worlds. She is the end that births the beginning, the keeper of secrets, the guardian of thresholds; carrying with her the wisdom of lifetimes, stripping away illusion until only the soul remains – naked, powerful, unafraid.

Within every woman lies a sacred trifold of feminine power -- the Triple Goddess --  the all-knowing Matriarch, where all three faces coexist harmoniously within, coiled and woven together as a Divine reflection of the natural world’s eternal rhythm. 

As the Triple Goddess moves with the turning of the earth, so too does the unfolding of her nature.  Shapeshifting from the bountiful, nurturing cosmic Mother into the final arc of the moon – the Crone.

And in her oldest form, the Crone becomes the Cailleach (pronounced kuh-LEE-uh – meaning “Veiled One” in Gaelic).  An ancient figure of Celtic Mythology, Cailleach is rooted in Scottish, Irish, and Manx traditions.  From the depths of the season of stillness, the Mother of Winter rises, not born, but awakened.  Her voice, hoarse with spells, is the voice of the earth remembering itself, calling back the parts that have been exiled.  She is winter’s howl, the storm weaver, the land-shaper, the breaker of bones, the keeper of thresholds guiding souls and the seasons through endings, decay, and necessary transformation.  She is a force unto herself.
